Project management & Consulting

During rollouts, we assist you with professional project coordination in the respective markets from start to finish. We provide consulting on process optimisation, continuous IT support for our systems, and training for end users and trainers.

Rollout and Project Management

During our system rollouts, we handle the project management for the concerned market, i.e. the overall coordination of requirement definition from the development phase up to the deployment of the system including piloting.

We cooperate with rollout partners in new markets to build up a support and rollout organisation. On top of that, we attend the deployment of new releases in the markets.


The focus of our activities is on consulting for our customers regarding process optimisation from the system point of view. We provide continuous supervision aimed at providing optimal IT support of processes in companies and the organisation.

Personal on-site support is paramount for all consulting topics: Direct customer proximity best shows the consultant the particular organisation’s needs.


Knowledge about the possibilities and correct implementation of our systems is a considerable factor for user satisfaction. The deep process integration and continuous improvements that are supplied with every system release make the training very significant.

We train end users directly and as multipliers by way of “Train the Trainer” for countries where our systems are provided via distribution partners.

Desktop services

We provide a digital workplace based on state-of-the art cloud technologies in close proximity to the Porsche Holding offices in Salzburg.

This offer tools that make collaboration and mobile working significantly more flexible and efficient for the users. A modern mail system, chat, video telephony/conferencing and the collaborative editing and sharing of documents in real time – all of these help to simplify not only individual working methods, but also the collaboration in groups, virtual teams, projects and with external partners.

Our business management concept POCSO – Porsche Client Server Operation – is a tailor-made, high quality service package that offers support for the IT systems of Austrian dealerships. From our Salzburg offices, we supply some 8000 workplaces and 320 servers at more than 320 locations with the latest software that has been thoroughly tested by the POCSO team.

High levels of standardisation and a virtually homogeneous software landscape in combination with sophisticated automation techniques allows us to support such a large number of users.

Hosting services

Our top priority: fault-free and reliable operation of all applications!

We make over 150 [applications] available to more than 27,000 users in Austria and 29 other countries. We do this with a range of platforms,from the traditional hosting infrastructure using server, storage and network virtualisation all the way to a private cloud in the data centre and a public cloud with Amazon Web Services. Our data centre relies on a housing model with two providers: conova communications GmbH based in Salzburg and eww ITandTEL in Wels. The IT infrastructure is operated by us.

More than 50 colleagues at Porsche Informatik are engaged in supporting our solutions and services.

The Support and Control Centre serves as the central contact point for 30,000 users across 30 countries. Our solutions are monitored 24/7 to ensure a high level of availability.

All IT issues – from authorisation management to troubleshooting and answering technical questions about the systems developed and supported by us – are recorded, categorised, prioritised and allocated to the appropriate department or solved directly. Appropriately specialised second and third-level teams for infrastructure and software solutions support the users in all challenges.

But most important aspect is:: Our employees speak the same language as our customers, they know the business and can react quickly and flexibly the wishes and problems of our partners. The vast expertise of our IT team in Salzburg is at the users’ disposal. All developers and system specialists are concentrated here to provide swift support whenever required.
