Who we are

Millions of users every day. 180 solutions in 34 countries on four continents. More than 900 specialists shaping the digitalisation of the automotive trade. This is Porsche Informatik.

We combine decades of expertise in IT and the car trade with a holistic vision for the digital transformation that our industry is currently undergoing.

Ready for change

Our agility is based on a modular system landscape and a learning organisation. This allows us to guarantee continuity, while also facilitating the transformational and disruptive business developments of our customers.

Our open-source strategy for tailor-made applications creates a clear competitive advantage for the car dealerships, importers and financial service providers who depend on our systems around the world.

Future by Design

We see ourselves as a trendsetter and an innovation driver: We build on proven state-of-the-art technologies, such as Java, TypeScript and Cloud, as well as on such development and operating methods as Co-Creation and DevOps. Furthermore, however, we also engage intensively in such issues as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Virtual Reality and Voice Interface.

Focussed on the customer

Our solutions are always centred on our customers: We design our solutions and processes to meet their requirements. Regardless of the channel they use to search for vehicles or services – we ensure that our systems offer them a seamless experience.

Porsche Informatik is a subsidiary of Porsche Holding Salzburg, the largest and most successful car trading company in Europe. We have been under the umbrella of the Volkswagen-Konzerns since March 2011.

Porsche Informatik on a steady growth path

Our business strategy proves successful!

At the beginning of 2019 we founded POI France, the Parisian branch of Porsche Informatik. POI France is responsible for the rollout and support of our dealer management system CROSS in the French market.

In 2019, we also launched a Porsche Informatik branch office in Vienna. The colleagues there will support all our main areas of business.

In May 2020, the Slovenian software developer Dasof d.o.o. became a 100% subsidiary of Porsche Informatik. Dasof developed the central business application of Porsche Bank AG in PHS partner countries, supporting them for several decades already.

Also since May 2020, we have been operating the Software Development Center: Retail. Within this entity, we contribute our expertise in sales and after-sales to the business ventures of VW AG.

Since July 2021 we have been operating two development hubs in Romania, in Iași and in Bucharest.

In June 2023, we decided to establish Digilab Italia in Verona. Digilab Italia aims to take over the sales, consulting, rollout and support activities of our solutions for the Italian market.

Basic Principles

Porsche Holding has worked to achieve its outstanding reputation during the 60 years of its existence in over 20 European countries, in Asia and in South America. Social responsibility and a high standard of ethics have made Porsche Holding what it is today: the most successful automotive distributor in Europe.

As a company with operations around the globe, to Porsche Holding compliance means that its employees not only abide by current law but also adhere to a set of moral principles that go beyond merely observing the law. These principles have been set down in the company’s own Code of Conduct. Naturally they apply to all levels of the Group and to all countries where Porsche Holding operates.

Porsche Holding Code of Conduct

Compliance and Integrity

Porsche Informatik is committed to observing all laws and internal regulations, and to act as a responsible business partner and member of our society. This of course includes our strong commitment to uphold the correct principles and policies.

What is compliance?
Compliance means observing all applicable laws, regulations and internal rules. Compliance defines the legal framework and aims at preventing infringements before they happen.

What is integrity?
Integrity means doing the right thing on the basis of one’s own personal conviction – acting responsibly for the company, business partners and as a member of our society.

This is why integrity and compliant conduct are not only things our company aspires to – we rather consider integrity and compliance to be essential components of our corporate culture.

Understanding processes,
to improve them.

To be able to improve processes, you have to understand them. Proximity to the automotive business is embedded in our identity. Our customer solutions rely on IT know-how and depth of expertise. Our staff have technological foresight, know the business processes and can accordingly advise our clients.

Innovative solutions, cost-effective implementation.

We always focus on the needs of our customers and their commercial success. When it comes to long-term orientation, we therefore think in terms of products rather than projects. Our solutions are subject to continuous improvement and further development. Our work here is strongly geared towards open source and innovation.

Flat hierarchies,
independent teams.

We also work on large projects in small developer teams. The flat hierarchies allow our teams to operate highly autonomously. This ensures flexibility and a high level of independence and simultaneously more responsibility and self- organisation.
