A quick overview<\/p><\/div>\n

In the past, the world of support looked like this:\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0user would report that an action in the system was not running as it should do. Several teams would then beg<\/span>i<\/span>n an elaborate analysis<\/span>\u00a0\u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>finding\u00a0<\/span>the final solution to the issue was often\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>time-consuming<\/span>\u00a0process<\/span>.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An interdisciplinary team set itself the task of improving this situation. Their goal was to pro-actively detect restrictions without having to rely on a report coming in from users.\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>he first step<\/span>\u00a0was to record in real-time\u00a0<\/span>important measured values such as the duration required for opening an order or printing invoices.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But this data is complex and difficult to visualise. The breakthrough here was achieved by means of intelligent analysis in the Data Lake<\/span><\/span>. L<\/span><\/span>og files are now continuously sent from CROSS 2 to our central data platform, where current measurements are compared with historical ones. This data is visualised directly in our support system<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and i<\/span><\/span>f there are deviations, an alarm is triggered. In this way, support colleagues can see at a glance where performance restrictions are emerging<\/span><\/span>, allowing them<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to intervene in the system immediately and pro-actively.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With this data-driven support model, our colleagues have raised the service quality for our 40,000 users in all 19 markets to a\u00a0<\/span>whole\u00a0<\/span>new level. A real milestone!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The solution was so groundbreaking that the data-driven support project was honoured in our in-house competition.
