Data Centre
Uninterrupted and secure operation of all applications that we provide to our customers is our highest priority.
We operate over 800 servers (over 70% virtualised) in one of the most modern data centres in Europe (conova communications GmbH). The customer data (135 terabytes) is stored on a highly available storage cluster, mirrored in real-time.
We centrally provide over 100 applications for more than 10,000 users in Austria and 15 other countries. For this, we process over 900,000 automated jobs every month, monitor 10,000 objects daily and maintain over 8,000 personal computers in Austria.
The ongoing improvement of our processes and the investment in economically sound innovations help us to meet the constantly increasing performance requirements. It is especially important to us to act cost-effectively, securely and efficiently.
Application Service Providing
The centrally run solutions we offer are CROSS (car dealer management system), SAP (accounting and salaries), Lotus Notes (e-mail and office communication), Internet applications and many more. Central operation includes the following services:
- Installation
- Updating of applications, databases, operating systems and all hardware
- Data backup
- Interfaces between applications
- Necessary data transfer, e.g. to works
The costs for this are clear and easily calculated thanks to a monthly fixed rate.
