KBS, the Porsche Bank Versicherung customer care system, administers customer master data, contracts, offers, payments and clearing.
KBS converts proposals generated in VU2 for leasing and credit financing, and service packages, such as comprehensive insurance, third party insurance, passenger accident insurance, legal expenses insurance or maintenance, into concrete contracts. In addition, credit checks are automated and the leading credit reporting agencies are linked to the system.

As soon as the vehicle has been handed over to the customer, KBS generates the necessary invoices and receipts, pays legal fees and adjusts all bookings accordingly (on the customer account, the dealer account, and in case of leasing, in fixed assets accounting).
All entries are automatically filed and indexed in an archive. With the help of a search client, all of these entries can be accessed on screen by users at any time. The contract file at Porsche Bank does not hold any more documents than the original manufacturer’s statement of origin and the original signed customer’s proposal; all other entries, documents and correspondence are electronically available.
For the final settling, KBS collects all relevant data, identifies any subsequent debits or credits and packetizes them in an aggregate balance. In case of leasing, the used car sale is triggered at the same time.
